TiVo Down Under
Australians will soon have access to TiVo, a mere 10 years after it launched in the US. New Zealand will get it as well. Too bad the Aussies had to wait so long. Seven Media Bringing TiVo to Australia Under Exclusive Agreement
ALVISO, Calif. (AP) -- Australia's Seven Media Group said Tuesday it will bring TiVo Inc.'s digital video recording products and services to the country in 2008.
Financial terms of the exclusive agreement were not disclosed.
The TiVo service will be available across Australia and should launch in the first half of next year, according to the companies.
